I recently visited The Captain’s Boil at Edmonton South Common for my birthday supper with my best friend, and it was an amazing experience! I ordered the crawfish boil with potatoes and corn, medium heat. The food was absolutely delicious — the seasoning was spot on, and everything was cooked perfectly. I only wish I had added more corn because I’m a total corn fiend! This was my very first time trying a seafood boil and crawfish, and it truly made my day. I’ve been wanting to try crawfish ever since watching Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island, where Shaggy and Scooby devour a massive pot of it — so it was a fun little dream come true. Overall, it was a great experience. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, and the staff were friendly. I’ll definitely be back for more seafood (and extra corn next time)!

It was an unique experience at Captain's Boil. I visited the South Common restaurant. The parking was free and there was plenty of parking space. As soon as we were seated our table was fully covered . We were given plastic bibs and plastic gloves. It felt very funny to use them but later on I realized its truly a necessity. Our sea food Came in plastic covers with lots of tasty , mouth watering sauce . The chicken fried rice was full of mild flavors. Even the potatoes fries tasted great as it was flavored with spices. We chose the meal for two . I had a thirst quenching and tempting tropical cocktail . It was fun eating the perfectly cooked seafood with our hands covered in "gloves and not to forget wearing our bibs". It was truly a very interesting and a different kind of experience. Price was based on a day to day basis and depending on the sea food that was chosen. I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant.

I love loveee their seafood boils. Got headless prawns on the first day with corn and eggs as a side and got lobsters with potatoes and corn on the second day. It is very filling and could serve 2 average food consumers. Price is fair at about 28 to 30 CAD for the smallest package. Staff gave me a free glass of water in a disposable cup as I was parched whilst waiting for our order. They're friendly, efficient and customer service is . I recommend.

Today was my first experience along with my brother. We drove from saskatoon to try out THE CAPTAIN'S BOIL. We were very happy with the food and service. As you can see in the pictures we enjoyed everything. The Cajun sauce for the muscles was very flavorful along with the seasonings in the boil. I recommend this place and we will be coming back thanks love for the experience and keep up the good work

We had to wait a while for our food to arrive, but it was worth the wait. Very friendly staff and the food was exquisite. It was pricey, though.

Every time we go there it's a great experience. When we were there this time. 2 servers only, we had to wait 50 min to get seated, and another 40 min before they could serve us a beverage, then when they started taking people order they did it by each table starting from one corner and of course not it was super slow overall they should of call the owner for having someone helping them.

Good taste and quantity compared to the price paid. I would surely come back if there is some other person serving next time. As I did not like the service lady there. Restaurant was pretty empty as it was a weekday afternoon and was a special day for us. Doesn’t mean you won’t serve us well. But ignoring that we loved the taste and would definitely come back

First time trying seafood boil and it was a super amazing experience. So messy, yummy, fun. Perfect for the family. We went for the pirate's w/ lobster crab. We tried the captains sauce It was a little too much for 3 women, but I liked that we had extra to bring home. 100% recommend.
